Quarterfinals Review and Analysis:

Monday, March 28 Quarterfinals Date

Quarterfinals Pairings:

*Cignal HD vs BaliPure

*Choco Mucho vs PLDT

*Creamline vs Chery Tiggo

* Petro Gazz vs F2 Logistics

(*- Twice to beat advantage)

1. Cignal HD vs Balipure

Cignal HD has excellent scoring skills, blocking and has improved floor defense. Balipure is 0-3 this conference. It might be asking a lot if they can upset the 4-0 Cignal HD.

2. Choco Mucho vs PLDT

Choco Mucho has rebounded well from a tough loss against Cignal HD and showed character in a grind it out win versus F2. They are leveling up. It would be a major upset if PLDT gets a huge scoring boost.

3. Creamline vs Chery Tiggo

Creamline has good spiking skills and that would be tested against a good blocking team like Chery Tiggo. Yeah Creamline is not the best blocking team out there but they find ways to win. Throw out the stats in this match-up. It really can go either way.

4. Petro Gazz vs F2 Logistics

Petro Gazz is a relatively young team while F2 Logistics is battle tested. Petro Gazz have poor floor defense despite the second seeding and F2 Logistics can capitalize on that. However if Petro Gazz can get its scoring going, that would even things out. F2 Logistics looks tired. This break will be good for them.

Black Mamba Army (eliminated)

Black Mamba Army has to build upon some of their good pieces and skills to prepare for the next conference. If It's any consolation, they are good at receiving and one time, ranks among the best in spiking and digging. Honey Royse Tubino is a positive sign there with her scoring so build a team around her. They will be stronger when Jovelyn Gonzaga comes back.
