Life in Mono

Okay as a regular employee you work from 8am to 5pm schedule at the office. You endure the traffic and you get home four hours if you come from Fairview. This includes the PNR, MRT and LRT. The traffic is heavy going to taft in the morning rush hour and after-work the traffic shifts towards the North. What we need is fetch these employees and students if applicable. Employers can provide flats, villas and townhouses for them. The long term benefit is the increased attentiveness. The students can live on dormitories. We must teach them how to be independent. When your work is at walking distance or nearby what can you do after work? After 5pm you can rest for one hour. Eat outside with your mates. At 7pm you can play basketball, table tennis and badminton. The employers can also subsidize your home.

Garbage Collection and Cleanup Drive

I designed mechanical carts to clean coastlines, oceans, seas, rivers and other bodies of water. See drawing below. Cart no. 1 can be pushed by water crafts or even persons to make the drum spindle turn clockwise as it run through the water and the debris. The theory is that the debris collected will be drawn to the rear end and will gradually settle down the bottom of the cart. Inclined chambers are provided so that the debris will stay at the back when the water is agitated by the waves. The alternative is a motorized spindle that can alter the design. Cart no. 2 can be pulled by vehicles or persons to make the drum spindle turn clockwise as it tracks the sand and the debris. The theory is that the debris will be collected by the spikes and dropped into the wire mesh cart. You can call it beach comber. The concept is from golf where they have carts that collect golf balls.

Oath and Promise

Okay my friend preaches the gospel so he asked me for advice. He's not as popular as Bo Sanchez, Father Archie Guiriba, Francis Kong, Gerry Orbos, Nur Misuari, Abdul Aziz aka Robin Padilla and Alhaj Murrad Ibrahim. I say you can retire okay. Why? Why not? You are limited as a man okay. Physically, mentally and emotionally you get tired. Eat, sleep, drink, play, work and unwind. That is a six-cycle mind. You can also write to reach more people, participate in the arts and entertainment. You cannot reach them all so you reach out to those who can reach out to them. Makes sense he says.

Redemption [Book Review]

Ben Trinity was caught up in a blizzard storm in the town of Redemption at the state of Montana. Thus he was unable to report to the location his parole officer planned for him. He was imprisoned in Tallahasee for aiding terrorists bomb the Amtrak train where trucks containing poisonous gasses swept into the wind killing 97 people. A wealthy man in his days living off a trust fund provided by his wealthy father, he was a college professor when he met his lovely wife who apparently is a Middle-east immigrant who has a French citizenship. They go to the Middle-east set-up a foundation to give them medicine. But her wife’s brother is the suspected leader of the terrorist group who bombed the Amtrak. They were indicted. Ben was sent to jail and was wired with a microchip so he cannot get close to electronics or else he gets a shock. Her wife was executed by a man supposedly his brother. Ben has trade skills so Carlene the owner of the main restaurant in Redemption offered him a job. Her daughter George, a divorced mother of a fourteen year old Amy, would become close to him as they know him better. The town policemen Luke Jensen, George’s ex-husband, eyes Ben closely even as the Indian Dennis Red Wolf keeps them balanced. There was trouble everywhere Ben went so when the FBI stepped in to meddle, they do not know is the bad guy. Ben was exonerated on the charges and phoned George the good news. He came home to Redemption.

I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Lee Jackson is as good as advertised. You know like Russell Hitchcock he knows how to suspend narratives and master the prose. There are scenes that jolted me but that’s the purpose. I would say they edited the story in the movie Lucky One starring Zac Efron.
