Slope Protection

Here is an example of a slope protection concrete pouring typical in Malaysia. Ready-Mix Concrete is sprayed to the prepared slope the thickness indicated by the wire mesh and weep holes and is anchored on dowels. The weep holes are permeable drain pipes wrapped with geotextile membrane.

We call the method of driving dowels to the earth as Soil Nailing. "It is a construction remedial measure to treat unstable natural soil slopes or as a construction technique that allows the safe over-steepening of new or existing soil slopes."

Masons trowel the slab after and shape the anchors into pyramids.
