China Machinery & Electronic Brand Show August 17 - 18

So i went to the chinese brand show yesterday that showcased mostly chinese products. Taiwan was also prominently displayed while there were equipment from Inner Mongolia and Japan. The chinese build their own trucks including the engines. The olds from Mongolia do not speak english but it does not hinder communication. Pictures to follow. 

Working Online

When you go to the Ph especially at the metros, don't be surprised if someone harasses you at the streets saying "online". They are not from the government but they help you with government documentation. They are fixers. You see this as the computer modernization plan. I assume it is the same in metro manila as in metro cebu and metro davao. When you register or renew government id's, you go online. You can do it at the government office, that is fill up the blanks with your information data and schedule for a date. You can also do it with your cellphones. That is where the fixers come in. They help you with data input. Then you go inside the government office for photos and signing. The government could legitimize them so that they collect tax. As the MMDA would hire non-government traffic enforcers.

The PH War on Drugs

I commend the President for his drug war. Drugs destroy mental health that escalates to violence. That is why the martial law in Mindanao is justified. The lawlessness impedes the infrastructure development so the government should cover the territory block by block. We know Sun Tzu has concubines but we do not agree with it. We apply however his Art of War. When you occupy territories, the zombies will be displaced. I know its easier said than done but with honest and fair executors, we can do it. We must deputize K9 squads and units to weed out drug addicts, pushers and carriers. Deploy them at parking areas, toll gates, bus terminals, train stations, airports and seaports. EDSA traffic is a dragnet so we must place checkpoints here. Responsible owners should protect their buildings and establishments from drugs as an employer would check drugs on their employees. At night time, the authorities must also be vigilant to protect the work force in the call center business.

Immersion

The PBA D-League is the conduit to the PBA. Newcomers including amateur standouts play for one year that serves as residency period before they apply for the rookie draft. Old timers work to make it back to the pros. Watch it when you have time. Its free. Whereas the NBA the NBA D-League has direct connection. 

The Land of the Diverse

So we are pushing for a federal type of government so that every region gets the attention they needed and only localized service can do that. As far as i know the ph has eighteen regions now grouped according to location, population, culture, religion and politics. These regions we will call states. There are two tagalog regions so we must differentiate them. There are islanders where divers called badjaos live and those from the mainland. The Cordillera is known for its mountain range. We should rename the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao cause our purpose is not to divide but rather to encourage diversity. So we gonna vote for eighteen state ministers in charge of governors and mayors. What we gonna do on the senators and congressmen? We gonna make it work. Yes we let them make their own flags. The United Kingdom is composed of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Why does the UK compete as one country in the Olympics but as individual "countries" in the World Cup? I mean in soccer. UK is enamoured with the sport so naturally their talents deepened. So to accomodate the depth of talent, they apply separate entries for the world cup. In this sense, Canada can ask the olympic and world cup governing bodies for more canadian hockey teams. I digress. The State Ministers guard their territory and control the population to better the lives of the citizens in their religions, culture and political parties. The focus of the President is on the international level. Likewise national officials should speak with foreign counterparts. The development of these states are not the same so the national government decides on priorities. We copied Indonesia's push to build infrastructure and labelled it as the PH's Build, Build, Build program while copying the Abenomics philosophy as Dutertenomics. The reason is we wanna be an industrialized country like Japan who have constructed engineering marvels such as undersea railway tunnels. Of course the most popular megaproject i know is the Channel Tunnel that connected the UK and France. You might wonder why i look up to the japanese when they bombed the ph in the war and fathered comfort women. Is because i grew up seeing good in them. The war was over seventy years ago, you can't say we have a short memory. I play duckpin bowling when i was small and the japanese sponsor tournaments. The media shows japanese shows. When i get to meet them, the girls are a tease. Koreans i understand why they are guarded. I went to trek the waterfalls in Palau and only one spoke to me in their group. The banglas work as laborers in Malaysia, pakistanis drivers in the UAE, sri lankans i only see online but from all indications they are educated and punjabis are more buxom. Can you believe they have orange eyes? They are all Indians. Singapore has higher cost of living than Malaysia, the former a member of the G20 list of industrialized countries. They have reclamation projects on the seas to expand their land area. They believe in the teachings of Confucius. Same as Japan. If they wanna be a world leader, they buy more territory. Did you know that Malaysia is the world's largest consumer of Milo? You can't even find alcohol there. You ask for spirit instead. I am not talking about wine okay spirit as in ethyl alcohol. You can order for wine in the restaurants. All i want is a bag of peanuts and a pint of beer while i watch ball games. American football is a unique game that you have different sets of offensive and defensive line up. Not much interest when they showed it on cable but if you start a pro league then it can have a cult following. The former ph president FVR for example, he has traveled at least 50 times in six years. I'm not saying you travel as much but travel as necessary. So when i worked in Palau, i learned that it is an axis stronghold. Germans and japanese were there since the turn of the century. Most of the people are good looking, including filipinos that they marry black and white women. So to preserve the culture of a country, you must protect the territory and its people. Believe it or not, i learned this from my polsci class back in college. As it is, 333 years of spanish rule and subsequent occupations by the americans and the japanese have watered down the filipino culture into kinda like them. Which was indonesian logically speaking, our closest neighbor. The english and the chinese are silent operators. The russians, honestly i do not know their role in the war although i know they fought against the afghans. I digress. The fight is now against poverty and education. They say in Africa, the problem is one family have as much as seven or eight children. We have to tell them to pick quality over quantity. If we have three or four children, it doesn't guarantee a good future but the odds will be on your favor. Saudi Arabia, a G20 country, leads the middle east. Come on guys, Qatar and Iran, they look like you. Like the euro bloc protects member countries. Korea accounts for the most number of tourists in the ph. Among them the moonies in which the ph have a cult following. Israel is now a thriving economy and making peace with Palestine. You don't wanna live in exile. There is more than enough land for all of us. Genghis Khan who founded the Mongol Empire has fathered more than 1000 children that we are all connected by blood one way or another. Thank God for mediators, whatever you conceive them to be. Dubai is an open city that means the UAE has the most liberal minded arabs. Which means you deal with the gray areas. The prize of glory is that you will h_ave critics. The United Nations in which almost all countries are members, endeavors to settle disputes and provide solutions to economic, social ills and climate change. Looking at the fiba organizational structure, they have regional service that the united nations can emulate.

Role Models

 

It is good to criticize, in fact that is a sign of a progressive nation. I suggest that the government be more open to the citizens. Of course that is a british lady having photo ops with a grenadier guard at the windsor castle while next to it is the monument of our national hero at the luneta park, dr. jose rizal who was an ardent critic, a novelist, sculptor, engineer, optometrist, among others. It is also good to adopt good policies.

Basketball

Let us talk basketball because everybody knows basketball in the ph. We compete in the southeast asian region so that we qualify for the asia cup and should we win there, we qualify for either the world cup or the olympics. An hurculean task if you ask me. Now with the asia and the pacific merging, the path to the olympics just got harder with the australia and new zealand adding fuel to the fire. The road to the world cup remains still as of the moment - asia with two slots and a lone slot being fought by australia and new zealand in a best of three matchup. Don't get me wrong. We want fair and tough competition so in my honest opinion, we could tweak the zones so there will be competitive balance.

Say taiwan and hongkong swap with myanmar and laos, iran and jordan join south asia while turkey and israel add to the middle east. We have to decompress europe you know, have teams cross the atlantic. We must hear about greenland and iceland. Yeah we know that the blacks excel in this field but even spectators get the rush. How do we build a world caliber team? We start with fundamentals then weight training, practice and sparring. Have fierce rivals.

So i had this hell course with fitness first last week. I have to do dead lifts, jumping jacks, wood chops, boxing, cardio and stuff. I would say cross training is beneficial to athletes. Boxers will be more accurate if they have weapons. The idea is to strike the target with the sword. You get what i say? Now let go of the sword and strike with your hands.
